From LTL Trucking Roots to a Five-State Regional Network
Diamond Line started as a local LTL trucking operation with a clear purpose: do the job right, take care of the people doing it, and build something worth staying for. More than two decades later, that hasn’t changed. It’s just gotten bigger.
From Local LTL Trucking to Regional Carrier
Diamond Line was founded in Meridian, Idaho in 2000 by Calvin Fillmore, starting as a local LTL trucking company focused on reliability and doing right by customers from day one. Over the following decade, the company grew its footprint and, in 2014, took a defining step: selling a portion of the company to its employees through an ESOP. By 2016, the transition was complete and Diamond Line was 100% employee owned.
That decision shaped everything that followed. Employee ownership is more than a tagline for us; it’s the reason people stay, the reason they care, and the reason our customers feel the difference. When the company grows, everyone benefits. That alignment drives how we serve our customers every single day.
How We Got Here
